Circuit principle:
The 18 LEDs are divided into 3 groups. Whenever the power is turned on, the 3 transistors will be turned on first. However, due to the differences in the components, only one transistor will be turned on first. Here, it is assumed that Q1 is turned on first, then D1-D6 are the first to turn on. One group is lit. Since Q1 is turned on, its collector voltage drops, causing the left end of capacitor C1 to drop, close to 0V. Since the voltage across the capacitor cannot be abruptly changed, the base of Q2 is also connected to approximately 0V, and Q2 is turned off, so it is connected to The group D7-D12 of its collector is extinguished; at this time, the high voltage of Q2 increases the collector voltage of Q3 through the capacitor C2, and Q3 will also be turned on quickly, and the group D13-D18 will light up, so for a period of time , the collectors of Q1 and Q3 are both low level, the two groups of D1-D6 and D13-D18 are on, and the group of D7-D12 is off, but as the power supply charges C1 through the resistor R3, the base of Q2 The voltage gradually increases. When it exceeds 0.7V, Q2 changes from the off state to the on state, the collector voltage drops, and the group D7-D12 lights up. At the same time, the voltage of the collector of Q2 drops through C2 to make Q3 The base voltage also decreases, Q3 turns from on to off, its collector voltage increases, and the group D13-D18 goes out. Next, the circuit circulates according to the process described above, and three groups of 18 LEDs will take turns in turn. Lighting up, two groups are lit at the same time, and they flash and glow in a continuous cycle to achieve the effect of flow display.
